DESSERTS
BINDI - MAESTRI DEL DESSERT
In 1946, Attilio and his sons, Romano and Rino, opened a small pastry shop on Via Larga, a historic street in Milan. Attilio was known not only for his pastry skills but also for his brilliance in communication. He established a unique concept: fast and reliable delivery of high-quality desserts for the foodservice industry, utilizing a bicycle for deliveries across the city. This revolutionized the idea of dessert from just a pastry to include a service as well.
Bindi quickly gained a reputation for creating high-quality cakes and pastries, soon becoming the exclusive dessert supplier for Milan's finest restaurants. The company expanded its operations throughout Milan by 1959. With the development of freezing techniques and improved transportation, Bindi was able to expand its reach throughout Italy, into other European countries and the United States in 1990.

JENI'S ICE CREAM
Founded by Jeni Britton Bauer, is an American ice cream company known for its creative flavors and smooth, buttercream-based texture. The company's story began in 1996 when Jeni, then an art history student obsessed with scent, began experimenting with adding essential oils and spices to ice cream. This led to her creating unique flavors and eventually opening her first ice cream shop, Scream Ice Creams, in Columbus, Ohio's North Market. After a period of experimentation and refinement, she relaunched as Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in 2002, growing the business into a popular brand.
